We have a 2006 EC 1050 with a wet bath. Anyone out there with wet bath units that have installed towel bars in the wet bath walls?

| We use the adjustable, rubber tipped, rods in the bathroom for extremeny wet towels/washcloths. These are either spring loaded or twist-adjustable to fit. We installed regular towel bars across the back of the dinette (fore and aft), and we normally put our used towels there to dry during the day. This works well for us. |

We use the suction cup type hooks. They hold really well and no drilling required. We also only use Pack Towels to dry off with. They work great for Truck Campers too! They dry really fast and take up NO room. We keep an extra for wiping up the bath when we are finished to keep it dry and looking nice. I can send you the brand if you like, I sell them at our store.
Hope that helps. |

Have not installed towel bars but we use the 3M brand hooks that come with sticky tape on the back. These are the ones that have a pull tab so you can remove them and then just put new tape on them to move them to a new spot. They come in lots of sizes and can be used on most surfaces and they won't harm the surface when you remove them.
Pack towels is there a link to see them, saving room is a very good thing. |

Pack Towels: http://www.rei.com/online/store/Search?vcat=REI_SEARCH&stat=7889&langId=-1&storeId=8000&query=towel They feel quite different when using them, but they get the moisture off and they dry quick. Quite spendy though.

| We use the suction cup type hooks too. Got them at Wal-Mart. They come in several sizes and won't harm the bathroom showers finish. Can be moved when and where you need them. Work great! |

Suction cup type hooks here, too, inside the wet bath. For towel drying, oak wood towel rods mounted on the dinette seatbacks work good for us. |

| I put plastic hooks attached with adhesive strip on the shower (wet bath) wall above the toilet. I hang the damp towels in there and clip a wooden clothes pin to them to keep from bouncing off. As i said in another post, I put a latch on the bathroom door to allow it to stay ~ 10" open while driving. Helps to let everything dry out better. also allows more heat into bath area when storing in cold weather. |

I use something I bought from Wall Mart. It has shelves for stuff and it has towel bars that wrap around the front of the shelves. We also use large "S" hooks hanging from the bottom of the wire basket to hang shaving kits and the like from. The only thing I did have to do was set the bottom plastic foot in a dab of silicone caulk to the bottom would stop walking around in transit. We also use the suction hooks for more towel hanging on longer trips.

| I installed a shower curtain rod about 3" below the ceiling to use as a towel bar and doubles as a place to hang wet jackets on rainey or snowy camping trips like a closet rod. |

We have a dry bath in our 1150 But still had no towel rack We fixed that by mounting them on the in side of the bath room door. We also mounted our broom there as well.
