Labor Day
Labor Day United States federal holiday observed on the first Monday in September (September 6 in 2010).

The first Labor Day in the United States was celebrated on September 5, 1882 in New York City. In the aftermath of the deaths of a number of workers at the hands of the U.S. military and U.S. Marshals during the 1894 Pullman Strike, President Grover Cleveland put reconciliation with Labor as a top political priority. Fearing further conflict, legislation making Labor Day a national holiday was rushed through Congress unanimously and signed into law a mere six days after the end of the strike. All 50 U.S. states have made Labor Day a state holiday.

Has anyone adapted the Lance Cab Over Stabilizers Shocks to their trucks? I've detected a noticeable amount of cab bounce while driving on highways. Although I keep the speed from 55-60, the bounce begins to build (I think its from the rutting caused by heavy truck traffic), requiring me to slow down at times to 50 mph. I would appreciate knowing if anyone has managed to fit shocks between the cab and truck.

Sounds like a question for the factory, I would call and ask if they will even mount to the camper. I hope that this does not sound rude but if your camper is bouncing and you feel uncomfortable then you are doing the right thing by slowing down.

Can you adjust anything on the pick-up suspension to try and reduce the problem? I have a road that I travel every month and it has one section that I have to travel at 45 MPH. I have tried everything and it still gets out of hand at anything over 45. I have seen the bottom of the cab over come within a fraction of an inch of hitting the clearance lights on the cab.

It's called dauphining and iI don't knowif the shocks that Lance uses are eny real help. Lance only puts then on if a buyer requests them. Most TC owners don't use them. There use to be a donut ring that you could blow up between the cab and the cab over that was supose to help too. they don't sale them any more. I find that a heaver camper doesn't do it as much.

I've talked to a few other truck camper ownens and they tell me that the cushion that they use to put between the truck and the cab didn't really help. All it did was rub off the paint on the top of the cab. They also said that the shocks weren't good either and tended to put to much stress on where they attached to the truck causeing dents. If they came lose you might end up with a cracked windshield.
