Ford official Specs have been released Feb 25th. "The all-new powertrains are the backbone of the new 2011 F-Series Super Duty, which has class-leading towing capability of 24,400 pounds and best-in-class payload capability of 6,520 pounds" Here is the link:

if you read reviews which are linked to my last post, here are some lines from it.
Because guys like to brag about their tools, here are some facts that 2011 Ford Super Duty owners will relish: The F-250 can tow up to 14,000 pounds, half a ton more than the current Dodge and GM HD models. The big F-450 can handle up to a 24,400-pound trailer. This is 4,400 pounds more than the closest GM and nearly three tons more than the Dodge HD.

Ford is also holding the line on Super Duty pricing. The MSRP of a showroom-equipped 2011 F-250 XLT Crew Cab 4x4 diesel is priced the same as a 2010 model. Expect to see all four trim levels (XL, XLT, Lariat and King Ranch) in dealers this spring

Hauling has never been a concern for me.
It's the real world payload capacity that concerns me when we look at 1160 class truck campers.

An engine brake is something that I would want.
So is a diesel engine and a payload capacity to handle a feature loaded EC 1160 camper.
And I'd like big beefy brakes.

It looks like we've got some interesting truck options to look forward to in 2011.
