After your first forum visit, these three tips will make your visit quicker and easier;

"Active Topics"
In the top menu, look for the link "Active Topics".
Clicking "Active Topics" will retrieve only the new posts since your last visit.


After clicking "Active Topics" (often overlooked) a new option appears.
You can narrow down the number of topics to the last few days, weeks, etc.
Look for this:
 
Finally,  you can easily jump to the last posting.
Click on the blue arrow.  Look for this:

That's it!
