We are having trouble with our "2012" 995 step. There is only one! Eagle Cap does not offer a solution for adding a step. Our stock, 2012 GMC Sierra 3500 4x4 is to high off the ground for one step. We have tried the plastic one and two steps, and they are unstable.
We purchased Torklift Glowsteps [4 step] and it couldn`t be mounted on the fiberglass bumper. The bumper is too wimpy. The steps are also too heavy to leave attached while driving. We are not willing to mount below the door because it would make the storage access inconvenient.
Have any of you had this problem and found a solution?
