Here are the weight numbers for our new 2013 1165 triple slide.
Weight of camper only loaded with factory options was 5000lbs dry weight (factory sticker on closet door)
Wet weight with camper 6000lbs
with:
1/3 tank of water (50 more gallons to fill the 75 gal tank @ 8.3 lbs per gallon, so add 415 more lbs -- WOW 14,765 LBS
2 full #30 propane tanks- full
camper with a weekend worth of food/drinks/bedding/cloths and odds and ends.
2- 6 volt batteries
Cooler of beer and pop and ice
Full, full tank of diesel
Myself 240lbs
Wife and daughter 250lbs together
Front axle 4300 lbs
Rear axle 10050 lbs
Total ( Truck and Loaded 1165 EC Camper) 14,350lbs w/ 1/3 tank of water.
Yes you heard right, 14,350 on a ODOT road scale Full with water 14,765 lbs
Truck handles very well up and down in the mountains of the Ochoco Mountains of Central Oregon with the Allison in tow/haul mode.
The truck is a 2002 GMC 3500 DRW Crew Cab 4X4
6.6 Duramax with Allison Trans
Top mounted helper springs
Remote Firestone airbags
4 Rancho 9000XL shocks
Torklift frame mounted tiedowns front and rear. (anyone want to buy a used Happi-Jac camper tie-down system?)

UPDATE: 07/15/13
New BF Goodrich 235/85/16 (ten ply with the 3 ply sidewall) All Terrain KO tires all the way around (6 tires) and 2" Fred's Wheel Spacers 2" of solid US steel, not from China. This gave 4" wider stance on the rear wheels.
This made an amazing, amazing difference the way the truck handled!!!! I now love the way the truck handles the mammoth Camper!!!!
I will be installing a Hellwig rear sway-bar as the last aftermarket add on.
