We traded our 2009 Eagle Cap for a 2012 1160 in November. We had our 2009 in for Fall service and the 2012 had just came onto the lot. It looked great and we made the deal moving from one slide to two. The 2012 had an alternate lift system that was mounted all they way around the outer frame that we did not want (the name escapes me right now) and made the deal that they would take it off and mount happy jacks. We picked up the camper and brought it home and immediately noticed there was a ridge running from one side to the other in the middle of the camper and the floor was soft. We took the camper back and the sales man and shop foreman said oh my that this is not good and we will make it right. They have now had the camper for two months and when pressed said all of the new campers have a flexing floor and are like that - no problem. We are feeling a bit uncomfortable with that. Any comments or help.

None of the new campers that we've looked at had any floor flexing.
We've recently looked at Eagle Cap, Lance and Arctic Fox campers - all of them have solid flooring.
That said, we both weigh well under 200 pounds each. But even with us both inside the camper at the same time, we've never felt any floor flex.
Something is wrong with that camper. Is there any chance that you can take it back to the factory?
I traded in the problematic 2014 Lance for an 1150 Arctic Fox - wish EC made the 1150.
The rig looks similar to this - nothing exceeds factory weight limits.

Our 2012 995 has a solid floor, no issues at all and that's with the DW, me, and two teenagers.
