TV audio through entertainment system
#1
Has anyone set up their TV in the 1165 to have the audio play through the entertainment system?

We don't have the 1165 but we've always done the TV/DVD through the entertainment center.
On the older camper we had to use the AUX output and plug it into the TV.
And on the newer camper I believe that there is either an AUX output or a HDMI jack that is being used.
Either way, it can be done.
(We also added a pancake sub-woofer to fill out the tinny cheap speaker used in the Arctic Fox).
I traded in the problematic 2014 Lance for an 1150 Arctic Fox - wish EC made the 1150.
The rig looks similar to this - nothing exceeds factory weight limits.

I'm not sure that the TV only speaker can be wired to the 1165's entertainment system. If there is a way to do this, I would surely appreciate knowing "EXACTLY" how to do this. I've checked the wiring and the inputs & outputs on the TV and the spaghetti network of wiring behind the wall and I don't see anyway to do this. Please let me know if you've done this and how you did it. Would really appreciate it.

Thanx .....

You need a RCA to RCA two lead connector. Plug one set of leads to TV audio out to Audio in on you Jenson.  Then select Aux 1 or aux 2 depending upon you selection of audio inputs you selected.  Enjoy.

Oricko is correct. I was the first person to ask this question and then dug into the spaghetti of wires and figured it out. I like the idea of a pancake sub because the camper sound system is not the best.

What kind and brand of subwoofer do you recommend?
Where should it be installed in the camper?
How do you plug it in the sound system?
Thx
