Heading for Europe in an 86SBS - 220 V 50 Hz conversion
#1
We are taking the plunge and moving us and our rig over to Europe for a protracted stay.  We would be interested in hearing from anyone with experience in dealing with a 220V 50Hz adapter for the power input to the camper.  We understand that European campsites limit your power to about 15 amps so we are looking for a converter that would convert 15 amps of 220V 50 Hz to ??? amps (I failed electrics at school!) of 110V 60 Hz.  It seems that most of the electrical kit in the camper (fridge, charger, microwave) is sensitive to both voltage and frequency so it looks like we need to convert both.

Any advice would be appreciated.

This looks like one work-around:

I traded in the problematic 2014 Lance for an 1150 Arctic Fox - wish EC made the 1150.
The rig looks similar to this - nothing exceeds factory weight limits.
