Air conditioner on eagle Cap 1165
#1
My AC unit works fine initials but after an hour of working it starts to only put out his air.  Any thoughts as to what is going on?

It could be dependent on what type of thermostat is in use.
When set to "Auto" it may cycle the compressor on/off and leave the fan running all the time.

Sometimes called a "desert thermostat", those types will cool down until it passes the set temp. ie; if set at 70° it will run until 69° is reached and then shut off the compressor.
And it won't turn on again until the temp goes up to 71 degrees.  This method prevents the AC from cycling on and off all the time and keeps the air temp at 70 most of time.
I traded in the problematic 2014 Lance for an 1150 Arctic Fox - wish EC made the 1150.
The rig looks similar to this - nothing exceeds factory weight limits.

The AC unit cycled just fine if the unit was able to get it down to the set temp.  However, if the air temp/solar load on the camper was too high, then the AC unit would run continuously but then it would not produce cold air.  I would have. to shut it down as it would just start blowing hot air.  After a period of time, I could turn it back on and it would blow cold air again.

I assume that this is not a new camper (??), but if I understand your issue correctly (i.e. compressor shuts off before reaching lower temp set point) it could be something as simple as a bad run capacitor on the compressor...
