EC850 slide depth?
#1
We have a 2004/05 EC850 (old Intermountain) and were looking at a new 2018/19 EC850 (ALP) version. Seems to me the slide on the new version was deeper than ours...but I forgot to measure it when at the dealers. Can someone with a new(er) version, the one where the slide also includes the fridge (so I think 2014+ ?) measure theirs and give me an interior depth?
Thanks! Would love to upgrade as all of the things that don't work with ours - and there are not many - have been fixed in the newer models. Sad to see that ALP has discontinued the 850, which is a brilliant design to us.

Everything I found on the ALP site says 8' 11"

From looking at the brochure, I would guess that the slide depth has increase quite a bit - and it probably will not allow camper access when closed.  A deal killer for me.

Thanks - but I'm looking for the actual depth of the slide (ie how far out from the side of the camper it is at full extension), not the floor length. On my 850 it's pretty shallow, but my sense is the newer ones are at least 6"-12" deeper.

Being relatively skinny, I can squeeze by most of them...and the new ones have a bit of a shorter dinette depth to allow more butt/body/stomach space in squeezing by, too. The edge cuts on a bit of an angle "away" from the floor to make some more room.

The slide in our 2007 950 is noticeably deeper than my brother’s 2004 1150 was (maybe 4 inches??).  I can squeeze by it with it in but any deeper wouldn’t work.  I suspect the new ones are like ours but just guessing.
