Battery charge while driving?

Hi all. My lance charges and runs stuff in the camper whilE i am driving. My eagle cap just arrived last night from very far away and had a dead battery. Just wondering if I need to configure something or if they don’t charge on the run. Thanks.

To my knowledge, all truck campers have their batteries charged while plugged into a truck with it's engine running.
The exception would be a minor delay when the truck is first started - I had a Ford that would not begin charging for about 45 seconds (or so) after the engine was started due to a built in delay.
Your camper either did not receive a charge or it has a defective battery.
