Hi, I s it recommended to remove the tailgate. I have a 2011 F350, SW.  My camper is a Adventurer 89 RB.

We have a 2015 F350 and looking at the way our EC850 is constructed, it would damage the tailgate if left on. It's not hard to remove...just heavy. [Image: biggrin.gif] And ours is particularly heavy as it has both the tailgate step and a camera in it.
