Build Rumor??
#1
Don’t know whether this is true or not, but was told by a vendor fella at the Quartzite TC Rally that Adventurer and Eagle Cap campers are not in production, and their only current product offering is the new minimalist Scout model camper…I suppose this might be a result of a recent management change at ALP…

FWIW, there were (unofficially) a number of EC 1165’s at the rally and at least three or four smaller EC’s, and one Scout -  not sure about Adventurers but I noticed at least one or two…Either way, this was our 2nd time at the Qzite rally and we really enjoyed the TC gathering!

Quote:-Which models are you currently producing?

Due to supply chain and other considerations, production is limited to our SCOUT and Adventurer

lines, only. If you’d like to connect with a brand representative for Eagle Cap or Overlander, please use the contact forms on their respective websites.

That is from the factory website - it has been on their site for quite a few months.
Sometimes websites are the last to be updated - so it's impossible to know without making a visit to their plant.

That said, Eagle Cap is still owned by and individual as far as I know. It's common for a family run business to close their doors when the owners "age-out".  Lazy Daze Motor Homes is a good example - one of the best built Class-C RV's built have made their last run.

I traded in the problematic 2014 Lance for an 1150 Arctic Fox - wish EC made the 1150.
The rig looks similar to this - nothing exceeds factory weight limits.
