2010 93fds , when you put the slide in, it does not go all the way in. It’s tight on the bottom but have about a one inch gap on top. Do not know how to fix, any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Eagle Cap has changed slideout mechanisms over the years (as have many other manufacturers).
Does your camper slideout have the gear strips top and bottom on the slideout sides? If so, then it is probably as Schwintek slideout mechanism. Can you identify it as such?
I traded in the problematic 2014 Lance for an 1150 Arctic Fox - wish EC made the 1150.
The rig looks similar to this - nothing exceeds factory weight limits.

It has the drive mechanism on the bottom , one motor and a shaft that drives two gears one on each rail. In that case, like mine it’s most likely a Lippert ‘PowerGear’ unit, but (admittedly from afar…) if the slide is touching ok at the bottom when closed but not the top, it kinda sounds like the slide mechanism or side-wall might even be sagging (??)…On mine when closing, the slide first makes contact at it’s top, then cinches down tight at the bottom…It’s not clear to me that adjusting the PowerGear mechanism beneath the slide would correct this particular problem - again, this assessment from afar only… 3 tons |
